The LYCRA Company, a global leader in innovative and sustainable fiber solutions for the apparel industry, introduced its latest product, the COOLMAX CORE fibre, at Bharat Tex 2025 in New Delhi (February 14–17). Recognized for its permanent moisture management properties, COOLMAX technology offers cooling comfort, keeping wearers cool, dry, and comfortable even in demanding climates.

The new COOLMAX CORE fibre is a pre-dyed filament available in over 25 shades, catering to the growing demand for dyed COOLMAX yarn in India’s shirting, knitwear, and formalwear segments. By eliminating the fabric dyeing process, this innovation not only enhances production efficiency but also reduces environmental impact by minimizing the risk of effluents.

Alistair Williamson, Vice President of The LYCRA Company for EMEA and South Asia, stated:
“We’re excited to bring this exclusive solution to India, enabling brands to offer a cooling experience that meets wearers’ needs, even in hot and challenging climates.”

The LYCRA Company showcased the COOLMAX CORE fibre at their SmarText Solutions stand (H-1G/C4) during Bharat Tex, providing visitors with insights into this innovative offering that supports sustainable and efficient textile manufacturing.
