Mango’s partnership with o9 Solutions is anticipated to enhance its supply chain planning skills and promote data-centric decision-making across its extensive retail network.
The goal is to substitute legacy systems with an AI-driven planning framework able to better manage the complexity of the contemporary retail scene.
Key to this project is the complete revamp of Mango’s Demand Planning, Assortment Planning, and Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) systems.
The software firm already collaborates with significant retail brands such Prada, J. Crew, and Urban Outfitters to assist in optimising their corporate operations.
o9 Solutions claims Mango will also be able to assist its digital planning transformation using its platform and knowledge in fashion retail planning.
Designed to integrate important planning procedures into one ecosystem, the o9 Digital Brain platform aims to eliminate departmental silos and promote cooperative decision-making among several teams.
The design of the platform will give Mango the freedom to improve its planning capabilities and allow the incorporation of private Data Science models. Furthermore, it will provide scaling possibilities required to maintain Mango’s growth path throughout time.
“This collaboration attests to Mango’s forward-thinking attitude to using technology for enhanced planning and decision-making,” stated o9 Solutions co-founder and CEO Chakri Gottemukkala. Mango will get the agility, intelligence, and real-time decision-making tools required to reach improved business results by including its planning processes on the o9 platform. We are eager to assist them on this path.
